The "Gros Ventre of Montana" webpage was a project for a class at the University of Montana. It has become a good source of information for people who want to know more about our tribe. Thanks to all of those who have visited, especially the A'aninin members themselves. It is my hope to compile information on the White Clay tribe in a central location on the web. I update links to sites on the White Clay and Fort Belknap as I find them. I'll do my best to keep it updated, and I am always looking for more information on our history and traditions. If you have old photographs of Gros Ventre members, or any additional information on our history, please, email me with any information you are willing to share. I live in Billings, Montana. I am the Coordinator of Indian Education for All for the Billings Public Schools. Prior to taking the position with the Billings Schools, I was the Academic Dean at Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency.
I received my undergraduate degree from Montana State University-Northern in Havre, Montana and received a Masters in Education from the University of Montana. I am pursuing a doctorate in Education Leadership at one of the following colleges; University of Montana, Montana State and the University of Texas... thanks for visiting!
