Hell In My House...But Heaven's In My Heart

Husband running around on me.
Son in prison waiting to be released.
Daughter on the path of lust.
Each way I turn, there seems to be no peace.

But I’m here to tell you today...

There is hell in my house, but
Heaven is in my heart.
If I just hang in there
Through faith and tears
God will do His part,
For He is the God that hears.

In the midst of my mess
God is pulling me thru my test.
Through it all I am seeing God’s best.

Though things seem
To be getting worse.
I stand strong in knowing
That my family will not be ultimately cursed.

Yes, hell may be in my house...
But heaven's in my heart.

Give me wisdom O God
Be my guide.
Hell is engorged like an ocean.
You are my standard...hold back the tide.
May heaven not only reign in my heart,
But may it reign in my house,
Before satan tears it apart.

Let your Son Jesus, shine in.
May His blood wash away all sin.
May my family receive your best
May they enter into your rest
