The Purple Woman And yes, all colors are beautiful, This I know, But a woman covered in purple, Moves with a different flow. She walks with confidence In purples unseen. Each eye that sees her, Beholds a royal queen. She spills wisdom From her vase during The storms of night. One can feel The breath of her strength When she gives insight. Being purple myself, I covet such for a friend. She can guide me through a start, Entirely to the end. She lives in a zone Where very few will trod. Yet she's the first one they call When they need to hear from God. And though I’ve grown to the point, Where I can hear God for myself, I am humbled beneath her table, To eat the crumbs of wisdom’s wealth. She prepares her heart in private, To seek God for me. He has even shown my Tears...my drops toward destiny. She can touch the finger of God With the very word of her tongue. When she stands to her feet, We know the battle is won. If you know a purple woman, Your pastor, sister or wife, Count yourself real blessed, To have this woman in your life. There’s a break through in your wallet Beyond the ones and tens, Be a blessing to this woman, She’s been a wonderful friend.
