Where We've Been


We have stood at the pinnacles of love
And endured the rough edges of life.
We have argued, yet loved intimately.
Oh what a love!...enduring all strife.

We have been in valleys…
Tested and tried.
Wrong decisions blurred our vision
And we held each other and cried.

Yet through all of this…
We are committed to each other for life.
My hand in yours and a tender kiss,
I am your woman...forever your wife.

I will always find sweet refuge
In the strength of your embrace.
And on this special day,
My eyes behold your face.

As I bestow upon you
The blessings of love today,
May you discover precious jewels
In the things I do and I say.
