This is a poem from my niece Copper. Whom I love so very much. Am very proud of her.

Twilight's Child

All alone in the depth of darkness, I cry with you on my mind. The more that I think, the more that I miss, those days when life was more kind. I dance to the symphony of silence, whirling and twirling around. As I spin, I begin to reminisce of that time when our love knew no bounds. Now, i've become twilight's child, I hide when the sun shows it's face. Untouched by the light I grow mild, as I linger in the lonliness of space. The wind picks up, the pine trees sway, the sky begins to tremble and flash. I watch the storm in it's elegant way take over all of nature with a crash. In a way, the storm reflects my heart in it's turmoil and destructive actions. All that I know is I need a new start, somewhere I can control my reactions. by Penny D. Elson

Penny loves to read, her favorite authors are Anne Rice and V. C. Andrews. She listen to almost any kind of music, but her favorite is R&B, and alternative. She writes poetry to express herself but let very few people read it. Her favorite kind of people are fun to be around and don't judge people by physical appearances. "If you aren't yourself, then who are you?"
