Welcome to the home page of the Texas Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa in Longview, Texas! We are a member of the South Central Region. Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary sorority for women educators.
Alpha Delta Kappa has over 47,000 members in over 1,800 chapters located in every state and several countries around the world. We have chapters in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, with new chapters being formed in Costa Rica. Our headquarters are in Kansas City, Missouri.
Membership is by invitation only, based on peer recognition, and it provides abundant opportunities for leadership development, networking, workshops, training sessions, conferences, and conventions. We have the opportunity to make a difference in the world and to share the gift of sisterhood. Alpha Delta Kappa members from around the world are creating success by combining their talents and energies to enrich their lives and the lives of others. Our community-based altruistic projects help us and others. We give thousands of dollars, many hours of service, and scholarships. Our members value our sisters and the ideals of Alpha Delta Kappa.
