DEMONSTRATION IN AMSTERDAM

On Sunday, February 6 we will again demonstrate to ask the release
of Leonard Peltier. Just like last year, the demonstration is organized
in Amsterdam, in cooperation with the Action Group Free Peltier. The
program roughly looks at follows:

2:00 pm: start at the Dam
Short speech by Frits Terpstra (Leonard Peltier Foundation) and/or Lennert
van Oorschot (Action Group Free Peltier) & The Native American Powwow
Trail with Mick & Tabitha Grigsby, Alabama-Coushatta Nation.

2:15 pm: march to the American Consulate on the Museumplein
During the march, which will cross the Nieuwezijdsvoorburgwal and the
Vijselstraat, there will be music and short stops during which Peltier's story
and the reason for the demo will be explained and repeated.

2:45 pm: arrival at the American Consulate, Museumplein
In front of the consulate, Bruce Gurwitz (brother of the late attorney Lew
Gurwitz) will give a speech

3:00 pm: the march ends at the theatre De Balie at the Leidseplein.

3:30 pm: showing of a short documentary in De Balie movie theatre;
followed by a performance of the Native American Powwow Trail (with
Mick & Tabitha Grigsby) on the Max Euweplein

4:00 pm: eventually, a second showing of the documentary

4:30 pm: end rally
