Subject: Pleas help Vermont Indians Again

For those of you that have visited the site for the DNA
testing going on in Vermont, could you please go back to
the site and click on the Danville site below and send
those idiots an e-mail on why a racist town like Danville
will not give up the name of "Indians" and take their
mascot off the floor ( they call it the Generic Indians ).
Clearly they have 'Plains Indians' displayed in their
school with 2 medicine wheels displayed and an eagle
feather. The Superintendent suggested to the school board
on February 7, 2000 to drop the name, but 3 board members
have remained stubborn. 2 of these people are very racist
and have shown it when the reporter's weren't around.

This is Vermont and both issues tie in to together...
Obviously a racist State that I chose to live in. I know
that I'm beginning to feel the need to hide my children
and myself. I am half Chippewa. I would appreciate all
your help in this.

Might I suggest you aim your comments mostly to *Judy
Corso, Fred Kitchel and *Chris Robbins ( *the most
racist ). Ginny Flanders and Alan Parker ( the school
board chair ) as well as Chaunce Benedict
( Superintendent ) are in favor of dropping the name.
The other three are just plain ignorant and stubborn.
We are sooooooooooo close to tipping the scales. We
only need one more vote to eliminate the name/mascot/logo.
If they think we're going away, we will be defeated.
We can use all the help we can get. The population in
that town of Indians is less than 12. People have refused
to send their children to the school for the reasons of
their racism. Even the Indian residents.
