   Just opened up the Sunday morning paper, and came to the "Parade"
magazine section, and wanted to share this following item with y'all (from:

"Q: Can you shed light on the controversy over Kevin Costner's plans for a
huge resort on sacred ground in South Dakota ?
          R.O. - La Crosse, Wis.

A: At one point, Costner dreamed of building a large casino and conference
center in the Black Hills, where he shot "Dances With Wolves." For a variety
of reasons, mostly financial, he shelved those plans. "Some Indians claimed
he was building on their sacred land," says a friend of the actor's, "but
when a public hearing was held, no one showed up to testify against him. In
the end, Kevin settled for a small hotel, then went back to making movies."
