Seasonal Sweetness

Easy Banana Bread

2 cups flour
3 tbsp.baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup mashed bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice

Sift the dry ingedients. Add the nuts. Cream the shortening and sugar and add the eggs, bananas, and lemon juice. Bake at 350 degrees for about fifty minutes.
