1.  Tell a short tall tale about how tadpoles got their name.
2.  See how many different d-sounding words you can use in an oral speech. As many words as possible must begin with the letter "d".  Begin the speech with D.D. Dundee.
3.  Do a mind map of your interests, talents and ambitions. Map it out and write it out!  Share it with the class.
4.  Define a pachydermadroid.  (It's imaginary, but imagine it to be real!)  Look for clues in its name.  Plan a thirty-second news report on a pachydermadroid. Rehearse it and do the final news report version for the class.
5.Oh no! You left the front door open and in came a snake. You're not sure if it's poisonous or not, and your pet canary is going crazy in her cage.  You are home alone and you need a fast, safe and reasonable solution to this problem because you have to leave the house soon for an important appointment.  List as many ideas on paper as you can! The select your most promising idea on the basis of time, safety, and reason or logic.  Write your story!
6.  G. G. Murdock is a stuffed gorilla in a store's toy department, and he is not getting the attention he deserves!. Brainstorm some ideas that would benefit his personality and add to his attractiveness.  Share your ideas with others in a method of your choice.
7.  Help! T. Twibblemouth sits at the desk behind you. He enjoys getting kids to laugh at you. He makes weird noises and then points his finger at you. T. is a ventriloquist, but no one knows this except you. Your desk is a permanent seat assignment, and you don't want to get T. into a lot of trouble, but you'd like to teach him a lesson without going to the teacher about it!. In what ways might you get T to stop?
Share your best idea.

8.  Think of many different ways to get a Ping-Pong ball out of a deep crayfish hole. P.S. There's an angry crayfish in that hole. The diameter of the hole is slightly larger than the Ping-Pong ball, and its depth is about two feet deep. In what ways might you get the Ping-Pong ball without getting pinced by the pincers of a crayfish? Think of a step-by-step plan and include the materials you would need and write out your plan.
