Third Grade Objectives and Resources
Special conditions (at least 10) , criteria (100 % accuracy) and evaluation tool (completed work sample) is determined by individual teacher. 

3.1  Incorporate communication and technology skills to create at least one research presentation.
3.2  Solve at least 20 multi-spepped math enrichment activities on ability level.
3.3  Use questioning and simple one word responses to induct needed information to solve at least 10
       logic and lateral problems..
3.4  Solve 10 enrichment activities involving a variety of problem solving techniques.
3.5  Manipulate objects to solve spatial and visual problem solving activities.
3.6  Complete teacher/student selected enrichment activities designed to apply skills of logic, problem solving, and
       critical thinking enrichment activities.
3.7  Learn economic  concepts of banking and handling money.
3.8  Analyze sets of numbers to discover math rules, design similar problems, and create a presentation/or learning
       center. 
3.9  Complete one figurative language enrichment unit such as Hinky Pinky, alliterations, animalines,
       transmogrifications, etc.
3.10 Analyze and judge the verdict from written and pictorial information.
3.11 Analyze and compare given statements to exclude impossible matches and evaluate possible matches.
3.12 Solve higher order thinking activities involving figural and verbal classification and analogies.
3.13 Complete science units above grade level.

3.14 Research an area of interest and create an interactive computer story or presentation.
3.15
Learn how to utilize available software to complete enrichment activities designed to reinforce/extend cognitive
        and communication skills.
3.16  Demonstrate correct keyboard finger position and type at least one paragraph with 95% accuracy on computer
         work sample.
3.17  Use creative thought processes to complete enrichment activities in creative problem solving.
