Centenary of Flight

This is a close up of the engine. Whereas its known that Pearse's original engine had its cylinders bolted against a wooden frame, the version made by the Westobys features a steel box frame mounted around the cylinders and it seems overall a more robust design. One thing known about the original Pearse engine was its short operating periods, as it was prone to overheating.
