These guys build gyros........boy Howdy!, do they build gyros!!...They interact with each other during construction like a well-oiled machine. They have been instrumental in getting the mainstream gyro industry to recognize the safety aspects of the centerline thrust design. They completely redesigned their gyro line to accomodate new safety features, such as the center-line thrust construction, a large horizontal stabilizer and utilizing the "tall-tail" rudder. If you purchase a machine, there is ALWAYS someone on hand to assist in instruction and help. They offer "retro" kits for people who has the earlier versions of the Air Command gyros, and want to upgrade to the safer high design. They totally stress SAFETY during all aspects of construction . There is an onsite instructor to give you gyro lessons, ( a BFI),after you purchase one of their aircraft or just want to "brush up" on your gyro flying technique. He is at Caddo Mills Airport ,but, is an entity unto himself,so lessons aren't free.......you can call Air Command and get all the particulars....... |
