For 2 1/2 days I was given the pleasure of driving Dr. Benson around at the Popular Rotorcraft Convention in Brookville,Ohio.... |

At the Rotorcraft Museum, Dr. Benson showed me some of the aspects of his "spindle" rotor head.... |

The Museum also had a theatre that showed gyro flicks. We sat in there for over two hours listening to Dr. Benson tell us of his exploits, trials and tribulations......it was great!! |

I took the oportunity to show Dr. Benson a "Videobook on Gyroplanes" that I had done using his criteria as a basis for the program.... |

He enjoyed the program thoroughly and told me....(quote:)..that "This was the finest example of the information he was trying to show the people in his manuals"...endquote........Thanks Dr. Benson, you really made my day!! |

I had to return to Paducah, so the driving opportunity was passed on to another individual...(there was a "snafu" when I arrived at the airport but, that's another story.....).but, I left there with a great feeling of satisfaction and so much information of rotorcraft knowledge that I thought my brain would bust!!! |
