The Arcade Junior Fire Department was founded in 1997 to give kids something to do that would build character, and allow them to be an active member of their community.The juniors consist of young men and women between the ages of 14 and 18.Once a member, the juniors respond to calls and perform tasks to free up a senior firefighter.
The juniors also have monthly meetings and participate at weekly work nights. There are currently 6 active members in the junior fire department who's names can be found by clicking on the link above. The Arcade Fire Department provides the primary source of Fire Protection and Emergengy Medical Services, other forms of emergency services include High Angle Rope Rescue, Ice and Water Rescue, Haz-Mat, Search and Rescue, and many other services. |
