		Let Me Introduce Myself...
			I am the deposed President of AFGE Local 2586, Altus AFB, Oklahoma.  I was illegally removed from office by a vote of the Executive Board, when I took leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act.  In an "emergency meeting" directed by District Nine NVP Michael C. Kelly, the Executive Board voted to accept my "resignation", despite the fact that I NEVER RESIGNED! At the hands of my own union, I have  -    -been reprised against for my union activities,    -been subjected to a hostile environement that aggravated my handicapping conditions of depression and anxiety,    -been discriminated against on the basis of my handicapping conditions,    -been forcibly "resigned" from my position against my will,    -been denied appeal rights,    -been denied due process,    -been removed from office without any charges being brought against me, no investigation, no trial, and no vote of the membership,    -been denied my basic electoral rights,    -been denied my Constitutional right to have offenses against me investigated,    -been libeled, slandered, and subjected to character assasination of the most base nature,    -suffered irreparable damage to my personal, professional and political reputations,    -suffered emotional pain and suffering    -suffered loss of pay since October 2003 because I had to take FMLA leave to recover from teh Executive Board's treachery,    -been forced to seek retirement 15 years before I was eligible because of the hostile work environement that the Executive Board has created for me among my coworkers, and to prevent management from reprising against me for my union activites.  Read my story (or as I like to call it, "TammyGate") and learn from it, because if it happened to me, it can happen to you - because I am small and insignificant next to the all-powerful NVP Kelly, especially when NP Gage has his back.  But if we stand together as a Union and demand justice under the Constitution, perhaps we can prevent this kind of thing from ever happening in AFGE again.  In Solidarity, Tammy L.
