Afghanistan has many natural resources. Afghanistan has natural gas, petroleum, coal, copper, chromite, barite, sulfur, lead, zinc, iron, and salt.

Afhanistans two industries are mining and textiles.

Afghanistan only has one major training partner is the Former Soviet Union.  Thier exports to them are natural gas and different textiles.

Afghanistan gets most of its imported items form Pakistan. They get capital goods, food and patroleum.

The currency used in Afghanistan is called an Afhani. It takes 4,700 Afganis to make one U.S. dollar.
