Salaam Everyone,

The UCLA Afghan Student Association is proudly presenting it's second annual Culture Show to educate our community about the richness of the Afghan culture and to help them come to a better understanding of the common bonds we share. The entire show will be bilingual (in Farsi and English) so to be understandable to all. Expect a fun night of live music, dance, and ethnic food. Don't think we'll be doing all the dancing because there will an open dance floor and live music, towards the end, for our audience to join in on the fun and celebration.
In addition to this, we will be collecting school supplies (backpacks, pencils, pens, science books, math books, scissors, artsupplies, rulers, solar calculators), medical supplies (crutches, eyeglasses, first aid kits, nonprescription medication, vitamins), hygienic products (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc), and any loose change or money you would like to donate. All proceeds and donations will be securely delivered to Afghanistan via Afghan Relief Organization to help the people and build a Medical Clinic within Afghanistan..

Please contact us in advance if you will be donating any large items so we'll be able to accomodate your donation in advance at afghansatucla@yahoogroups.com

Expect a night of fun and please let all your friends know about this event!

Hope to see you there!,
