Courtney Niles, civilian, NBC International
Killed in Action, Hue, 5 Feb 68
Courtney Niles was a civilian working for NBC International when the fighting broke out at Hue during the Tet holiday of 1968. He was at AFVN, the radio tv station at the time.
SFC Harry Ettmueller, who was also at the station at the time, writes that Courtney Niles ... "nailed one [enemy soldier] just as he was trying to sneak into the bunker area. Too bad his name is not on The Wall, but he deserves to be recognized."
