Tunnel Falls is one of the four waterfalls located in Clifty Falls State Park. Tunnel Falls is the heighest of the falls at 80 ft. The other falls: Big Clifty, Little Clifty, and Hoffman are 60, 60, and 78 ft. respectively.
Clifty Falls State Park is located on SR 56 and 62, a little
west of Madison
on the Indiana-Kentucky border.
Clifty Falls
was formed during the Ice Age when the water from Clifty Creek
dropped 200 ft. to the Ohio River below. Over time Clifty
Falls has receded into the bedrock where it is now located
2 miles north of the Ohio River and drops only 60 ft.

by the Indiana DNR at the Gate House of Clifty Falls State Park)
My friends and I visited Clifty Falls State Park in August of 2000. At this time I only have pictures of Tunnel Falls. However, I plan on returning to Clifty Falls in the near future, when I will take picures of the other falls to include on this site.
NOTE: Areas above and below all waterfalls are always off limits! (Taken from the Clifty Falls State Park brochure) Be careful when observing falls. Observe them only from designated areas!
