| A little bit about Christadelphians... we are a group of believers who try to the best of our ability to reflect the Glory of our God and Creator.As Christa-delphians we believe ourselves to be a people called out of God seperated unto him and for his name. Our Hope is in the visible majestic, return of our Messiah, Jesus the Christ to redeem this world of sin; namely by and through the Saints of the Most High God, which has been spoken of by all the holy prophets since the world began! | As Christadelphians we are also intrinsically linked to the nation of Israel. Blindness in part is now thier portion but when the Deliverer shall come he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob and all Israel shall be saved. So.. How can we who are grafted into the olive tree boast against the branches? | The above is a commentary of the signifcance of the sound of the Shofar trumpet. It was sounded at the beginning of the festival of trumpets ten days before the The day of Atonement. The sound was to remind one of the soon arrival of the Holiest day and to prepares one's self for it. Ezekiel was set as a Watchman to Israel by God and he was to sound the Shofar of warning to the people.. Ez 33:4: "whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet"... "shall deliver his soul". The margins rendered this "whosever hearing heareth" this makes us think of the Revelation which states many times... "him that hath an ear let him hear" SO THEN.... Let us HEAR and UNDERSTAND the law and testimony of God; that we might be so warned, that we might know all that God has revealed concerning the things that will happen on this earth, to understand why it is he has thus decreed..."Thus I will magnify myself and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall KNOW.. that I...
