| THE SHADOW OF GOD'S WINGS |
| What does it mean when the Bible talkes about the shadow of God's wings? The first thing we need to do, is to see what the word shadow means. 1.)- Partial darkness in a space from which light rays are cut off! 2.)- Shelter! 3.)- To follow and watch closely. Well I think it is safe to say that being under the shadow of God's wings, does not mean the first definition. God is Light; and in him is no darkness. Darkness cannot overpower His light. The first definition given, sounds more to me like the valley of the shadow of death, King David spoke of in the 23rd Psalms. "YEA" though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil! Under God's wings means to be under His Divine protection, and His Divine Guidence. As Long as we keep our eyes on God; we are under the shadow of his wings. And also His wings represent Healing!(see Malachi 4:2) PSALMS 57:1 For my soul trusteth in Thee: Yea, in the Shadow of Thy Wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast! Psalms 63:7 Because Thou hast been my help; therefore in the Shadow of Thy Wings will I rejoice! God is the only protection that we could ever need for the storms, that come our way. God promised to never leave us or forsake us, no matter what. If God's eyes are everywhere: Just imagine how Big His Wings must be. W O W !!!!!! My dear friends; there is Wisdom and Knowledge to be gained in the midst of pain and suffering. Many are the afflictions of the righteous God says; But he promised to deliver us out of them All! Revelation 1:17,18 Fear not; I AM the First and the Last. I AM he that liveth and was dead; and behold, I AM Alive forever more: And I Now have the keys of hell and death!! Glory To God!!!!
