| The distance from the Alabama-Mississippi State Line on old US 82 (signed as Pickens Co. 30 in west Alabama and MS 182 in the Magnolia State) to the city of Columbus is quite short. One of the first restaurants one encounters heading west into town is the Mexican Kitchen, noticeable for the team of horses on the roof. |
