| The motel lies at the end of the eastern portion of MS 182 in Columbus: the western and eastern stretches are divided by the Tenn-Tom Waterway which can only be crossed using the current 4-lane US 82. Since there's no through traffic anymore, the motel is naturally closed. As are most of the industrial sites along the old highway, witness this abandoned structure across the street. These buildings are just a half mile or less from the river. |
