Summary of the Study in English

Introduction and Problem of the Study

Because of the importance of education in the first stage of the basic education in different educational fields, emphasizing that the first stage of basic education is considered is the basic rule and the first pillar in the educational structure so we should show the role of teacher to qualify the student to go with society development, provide them with the principles of good behavior and modern attitudes, bringing up the good person who lives in the present and gets ready for the future with its possibilities to interact in society to feel his contributions and citizen ship in modernism and development process.

Teacher is considered the essential active element in educational process. He is the basic executor of educational communication in the educational institutions. He is the first responsible in success or failure of the students and the whole educational process. If it is the importance of the teacher in general, this importance will duplicate for the teacher of the first stage of basic education, who works with students to perform their attitudes towards educational process and institude essential basic for the next educational stages.

Teacher qualification is one of the most important cases which occupies responsibles of education to achieve aims of the society from education.

All of this is the responsibility of teacher who is the basic of education process.

This means, there isn’t a style, away or means include educational success to achieve its aims except a good qualified teacher who is suitable to practice education profession.

Teacher is very important in education process, so educational institutions should review from time to time in preparing and developing teacher according to political, social, economical, cultural and educational changes in society.

Many education lists emphasized on the importance of qualification and developing teacher of physical education in the first stage of basic education in continuous way to be able to go with time innovations in instructional and educational field.

Also to go with changing and developing in his expectant professional role according to quick changes of time.

Some previous studies refered to decreasing the level of first stage teacher of physical education of basic education. They recommended to review preparing teacher of physical education in the first stage of basic education.

All of this was the motivation to work in this study to make suggestion programme for preparing teacher of physical education in the first stage of basic education.

Purpose of the study

This study aims at:

- Make a suggestion programme for qualification teachers of physical education in the first stage of basic education during service.

This requires

a – Study the reality of qualification teachers of physical education in the first stage of basic education.

b - Determination the professional requirements of physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

Questions of the study

The study attempts to answer the following basic question.

* What is the suggestion programme for qualification teachers of physical education in the first stage of basic education during the service according to some professional requirements.

This question includes some other questions:

1 – What is the present reality of physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education?

2 – What are the professional requirements of physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education?

3 – What are the dimension of the suggestion programme of qualification physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education?

Plan and procedures of the study

To achieve the aims of the study, The researcher used the following:

Style of the study:

The study used :

Descriptive style, Document analysis and survey.

 

Society and sample of the study

Society and sample of the study represents:

a – A sample of experts in physical education field who have doctorate degree in curriculums or who have an experience in programme field.

b – A sample of experts from general guides of physical education in some instructional and educational governorates.

Instruments of Data collection

This study used the following instruments in data collection:

(1) – Document analysis which includes:

a – Plan of the study concerning the preparing physical education teachers in Instructors school before time.

b – Plan the study concerning the preparing physical education teacher in some faculties of physical education.

(2) – Personal Interview:

Which includes:

-         Interviewing some specialists in faculty of physical education.

-         Interviewing some general guides of physical education.

-         Interviewing some physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

 

Structure procedures of the suggestion programme

The study followed these procedures for structure suggestion programme:

(1) – Study the scientific sources and associative researches to the study matter.

(2) – Recognizing the reality of preparing physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education through:

-         Personal interview with some physical education guides in the first stage of basic education.

-         Personal interview with some physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education for discussing the professional reality of teachers.

-         Recognizing the studies which is interested in the reality of physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

-         The benefit of the previous studies recommendations which treated the reality of physical education teachers in this stage.

-         Study plan analysis concerning with preparing physical education teacher in instructors school before time.

-         Study plan analysis concerning with preparing physical education in some faculties of physical education.

(3) – Determination the basic dimensions of suggestion programmes and present them on some judges.

(4) – Reaching to determination of the dimensions which the suggestion programme should includes it:

-Basic sciences.                          - Educational sciences.

- Academic science.                   – Selective courses. 

- Application science and its counter balanced.

(5) – Suggestion many courses for every dimension and showing it to the experts.

(6) – Reaching to necessary courses for every dimension.

­(7) – Suggestion several goals for every course according to some scientific references, previous studies and personal interviews with persons who teach these school courses.

Statistical Manipulation

The study used the following statistical style:

Confidence tintervals of mean mark of agreement on each school course:

Completely agree                              3 Marks.

Agree                                                  2 Marks.

Disagree                                             Mark.

- The study reached to the response mean and agreement stress as follow:

Summary

The study reached to many results as:

-         Recognizing the reality of preparing physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

-         Determining the professional requirements for physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

-         The study revealed the weakness of preparing physical education teachers in Instructors school before time.

-         The study reached to a suggestion programme for qualification physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education during the service according to some professional requirements.

Recommendations

The study suggest some recommendation as:

-         The importance of review for qualification physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education.

-          Faculties of education should under take the task of qualification physical education teachers in the first stage of basic education for university level.

-        The present study recommends to take care and show the results of the suggestion programme on the responsibles of instruction and education ministry to report and carry it.
