Lindsay Anderson was one of those directors who was grossly underrated. Here was a director whose fantastically brilliant, witty, entertaining and socially conscious work was, with the exception of the Free Cinema movement, on the whole shunned by British cinema. But there are still some of us out there who deeply admire and respect Lindsay's films, shorts, even *that* popstar documentary and I for one would like to dedicate this site to his genius. So please sit back and enjoy what I have to offer to you, the Andersonian. If you are thinking, however, 'who the feck was he??!' I hope to re-educate you and have you converted!
As you will see, there is still a lot of work to be done to this site, but rest assured I am constantly working on the site, and am adding new pages as soon as I can. At the moment, the Shorts section is non-existent, but feel free to check back often, and meanwhile check out the other sections.
It seems to be one thing then another with me, but after a year of, well, I don't want to go into it but I've had a pretty rubbish year, I am starting to turn things around and am currently creating new pages - but if you have any comments, suggestions, or even reviews and material you would like to contribute to the site, feel free to email me with your stuff.
