Another Wonderful site dedicated to the Best and most glorious army of Warhammer called: Bretonnia.
And there is good news! The new Bretonnian Army Book has been released, so off to the stores, brothers in arms! New to Bretonnia is that we now use a war machine! Yes, you've read it correctly, a war machine. This doesn't have to be used by us, knights with valour, ofcourse. We have our people for that. Anyway, check out the Games Workshop site and soon I will tell more about the new aspects, rules and units.
If you do not play with this honorable army then I hope that on a fine day(this Is a fine day) you will change your mind and become a fearless Bretonnian general so your life becomes useful again.
Yes, these splendid looking Knights on the left are those famous Grail knights who serve those even more famous Bretonnian Commanders.

If you are not a Bretonnian Commander I recommend you shut down your computer right now and come up with a battle plan to get rid of these guys!
All pictures on this page are the old models. They will soon be changed for the new ones. Which I think look absolutely fabulous!
When I told Yahoo! my wish to make a homepage dedicated to Bretonnia I, how could it else,
directly got a address and could blow right away! Special Thanks!

Here comes my point of view on The Bretonnian Army.
Going like this:
* Commoners
* Knights
* Characters
* Special Characters

Commoners

These do not, like other armies, make up the bulk of your army. Ofcourse they serve their lord with rightful dedication and much more lovely comments, they fight poor!
First I will start with the Bretonnian Bowmen, they got Bs3 and so shoot pretty poor though I think becouse of their low point costs youcan take a couple of units so you can shoot in your shooting fase.
Preferebly use them against T3 or lower creatures so you got a nice chance to wound, I sometimes try to kill some Saurus warriors from my Brother but they kill none!(Saurus has T4 and 4+ Save)
They have an option to get LA but this really does not matter at all, you better put these points in magic items for your Knights!
Then there are Spearmen.(Men-at-Arms with Spears)
Useful to hold up the enemies advancing troops so you can flatten them with knightly charges.
They cost only 6pts so you can put a lot of em in your army though this is not recommended by me.
You should use Men-at-Arms to reinforce your knights, and make it possible for the knights to charge the knights to charge the best units your opponent can throw in front of you. If they die doeing this they die with honour!
Of course you can give them some LA(+2pts) and/or Shields(+1pts) so they get a 5 or 6+ Save.
Last but not least are the Halbediers, becouse of their tall sharp Halberds they get a +1S bonus.
This bonus can make a major difference! so choose carefully between spears or halberds!
Almost nobody talks about the ca$h of Warhammer but I do! The Halbedier regiment with the same size of the Spearmen above will cost you about $70 wich I think is a little much compared to what you get on the battlefield! Except for 2500+ battles I recommend to take smaller units MaA and bigger units Knights!
what are you waiting for?
To proceed with Knights:
