Cortot on the web is quite scarce so hopefully this site will begin to ignite some interest in pianophiles as well as students of piano, who should be well aware of this pianist whose interpretations still ring with authority, urgency, intensity and individuality; which in an age of homogeneity in piano interpretation is all to scarce a commodity.
