Wanting to dance, but your feet not letting you

I’m sure you’ve probably heard of, or at least seen the people I am going to talk about in My essay. Namely, ‘Wiccans’, ‘Antiracists’, and ‘White Metal’ fans. With each one of these, one could really say that each and everyone of them has their Devil, and he’s always been their best friend in that he has kept them in business for so many years.
While the others Devils generally come in different forms then the “straight-up” model, with the Wiccans it literally is the Devil that they are living off of and abusing liberally at the same time. As a great writer once said, they’ve got the “horned-god fertility syndrome”. They claim to be followers or guided by Pan, Ceruannos, or even Lucifer, and also profess constant slobbering whorship for their female counterparts, Diana, Hecate, and so forth. All this, and they dress in black. So are they, perhaps, a little Daemonically inclined? Heavens! No, of course not! Would be their answer.
Their goddess and god are “earth based”, which generally equates to a whole lot of running around in the woods naked, dunking themselves with oil, gripping crystals, and, when in the case of monetary problems, dressing in green and beating big drums. Their religion, is only about peace and love, not Evil! Yet why is it that they need to constantly point this out? Why not, say, quit attempting to appear as a Diabolist when one is really not? It’s because it gets them attention! No matter how many times a weakan shouts “I am not Evil!” he always goes back and does something to appear dark! But yet, that is the whole game-keeping a handy scape goat, and profiting greatly off of it to boot. After all, who would give a bloody Hell about their stupid antics if it didn’t have a guise of having an infernal nature? Now, they’d like nothing more then to say they where diabolical, Evil, and of a sinister insight-but they just can’t quite seem to do it. So instead, they settle for something thats half-baked and hogwash to begin with.
The next subject, is that of the so-called ‘Anti-racist’. They are, in all actuality, the most racist sort of individual in reverse. Instead of hating another person because of their race, they hate another person if he/she has a non-politically correct veiw of race relations. This includes thinking that people shouldn’t hide behind their colour and actually do something in life, or not thinking that a killer should go free because he is of a non-European race. Supposedly , their mission is to wipe out racism, but it appears to have more to do with beating the life out of everything in sight, calling everyone a “Fascist” and screaming and ranting slogans such as “never again!” “beat the nazi, beat the racist!” (How mature!). Quite similar to the Xian that sees Evil in everything and around every corner, the ‘Antiracist’ sees Nazism and Fascism in everything. Capitalism is fascism. America is fascist. The police are “KKKops” and “fascist agents” out to terrorize innocent people of African, Indian and Hispanic descent. (It couldn’t be that people of African, Indian and Hispanic descent commit crimes just like people of European descent??) Any one who wears red shoelaces is a nazi. Whats more, they’ve even convinced themselves that skinheads where origionally peaceful, benevolent working class people who loved all the races of the world and believed in racial harmony. (It just ain’t so folks.) So just what is a ‘Antiracist’? More often then not it’s generally a person who would be a be a nazi if they could, but they don’t like the strict regimentation of the Nazi lifestyle. (Monogomy, no drugs, heterosexuality, etc.) So, they decide to go in the opposite direction, and spend all of their time hating nazis rather then hating “non-whites”. This for some reason involves not washing for extended periods of time, commiting petty criminal acts, dressing like a moron, etc.. Quite alot of work to combat a group of people that are only about 10,000 strong in this country. So who is their Devil? The Nazis, and more namely, Adolf Hitler. They wish they could be just like them, but because they can’t, they decide on being even more contradictory then the Nazis, by taking their ideology and twisting it into a ideology of hatred towards people of European descent and violence. (Interestingly enough it is well known by both groups {the racists and ‘antiracists’}that members of both sides will often be converted back and forth often, almost as if both idelogies could be concidered interchangeable.)
The final lovers of scapegoats, and of the always easily scapegoated Devil would have to be the “White Metal” fans. Heavy Metal, a genre that has never been much on monothestic religions, has been beset by a largely unsuccessful (and very small) group of morons calling their poorly made music “White Metal”, or in the case of when they wish to have a Black Metal sound without sounding too Evil or Satanic, “Unblack Metal”. It’s quite easy to see what makes the money in the “White Metal” genre: lots of Satan-bashing, as well as a good general bashing of all metal that is concidered “secular”. ‘White Metal’ is generally music that conveys Xian propaganda more then anything else, and has little more then that to offer. Any sort of subject matter must be fairly difficult on the ‘White Metal’ lyricalists as well. After all, very few people will be drawn to song titles such as “I want to f*** your brains out, but I’m gonna wait ‘till marriage”, “I want to kill you but instead I’m going to turn the other cheek” and “Head bang for Jesus”. It’s pretty obvious that they wish to have the Blackened Majesty of the Heavy Metal greats such as King Diamond, Root, Venom, etc., but yet they don’t really want to turn in the good-guy badge, so they write some pap and call it “Unblack Metal” so it doesn’t offend anyone, but still sounds “rebellious”.
Thus in conclusion we must say that what was once, is and always shall be still applies-there will always be people who can’t live without a Devil to scapegoat and ‘fight’. For what it’s worth, it’s these idiots life’s blood-putting on their armour and going off on a crusade, no matter how rediculous and unfounded it is, and all the while, what they really wish to be is their enemies. “At times, truth is stranger then fiction.”
