Some questions to ask when calling a school:

Are you currently looking for English teachers?

What is your hourly rate of pay?

Do you have children's classes or adult classes?

Can you help me apply for a work visa?

Is there a foreign teacher working there now? May I speak to her?

If you are asked in for an interview, dress neatly and bring a copy of your resume. Act polite and outgoing, and be sure to mention any teaching experience you might have. If you speak Chinese, definitely use it in the interview. On the other hand, don't exaggerate your proficiency in Chinese when you can only speak a few phrases.
