Everyone Does Have a Story to Tell

Just released-June 1, 2000

The vibrant culture and breath-taking beauty of Northern California is captured as nine San Francisco Bay Area elders reminisce about life during the first half of the 20th century.

Preserving Oral and Family History

Have you ever reminisced with family around the kitchen table or on the porch?  The stories and family history you heard or shared will always be a deep part of you.

Your memories are a priceless treasure.  They illuminate the past, making you feel part of something grand; they connect you to your family and heritage; and they provide a timeless legacy for future generations.  A wonderful way to preserve these stories and recollections is to record them with a personal historian.  No matter how distant the memories may be, the journey of reliving and sustaining the past will be an amazing gift to your family.
All Stories will help you or a relative remember and preserve the magical and the mundane moments that will link the generations.

There are several ways for you or a relative to capture your memories.  All of these are done in the comfort of your home in a professional and friendly manner:

  • audio tapes, videotapes--edited versions of the interviews
  • interview transcripts--edited or unedited
  • a hardbound book--an edited version of the interview with or without photos and documents
  • a commemorative book--celebrating milestones, such as weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays
  • newsletters for family reunions
  • transcription services
  • ask about my budget biography package
