David E. Kelley's The Practice also got 7 nominations while his other FOX
show Boston Public got 2.  The Fox Network got a total of 40 nominations.
The Emmy Awards air on CBS September 16th.

[ Emmy Awards 2000 ]

In the latest edition of the Emmy Awards, Ally McBeal wasn't nominated for the best Categories which include "Best Comedie series" and "Best actress", but Peter MacNicol wad nominated for best supporting actor in a comedy series. Unfortunately , he didn't get the award. But our show got one of the awards it was nominated for:

Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Series Or A Special
Ally McBeal - Car Wash - FOX

That great episode that nobody has ever forgotten, about Ally and Joel at the car Wash...got an award for best sound mixing :-) So congratulations!

[ Emmy Awards 1999 ]

Here's the picture from the Emmy Awards 1999 when David E. Kelley (Ally's creator & producer) won an emmy for his two shows ( a comedy and a drama) . The main characters of both shows are there with him; Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) and Dylan McDermott (the Practice).
