Reflections at Bukit Chandu W!LD Heritage Hunt - 24 July 2004
Home
Singapore war years
Once again, we were at Reflections at Bukit Chandu to catch up on the action...This time, there was a scavenger hunt which involved school children to hunt down for clues all over the centre in a given time. More details on this page.

This activity was held in conjunction with the Singapore HeritageFest '04 and co-organised by Project Chilli Padi.

Well, a lot of the children and teachers stopped by our display stand to explore the different types of WW2 Japanese uniforms and equipment which many had not seen before in such detail and closeup.

On the whole, we thank the staff of National Heritage Board for making this display possible.  We had an educational time with the children as well.

Just some of the items on display... Note the original Japanese Kempeitai (Military Police) armband pinned on the sleeve of the tropical shirt.
Andreas " Gunther " Low, my good friend, who helped me out with the display this time round.
Me, myself and my items... Waiting for the arrival of the school children...Moments earlier, there was a heavy morning downpour...
School children viewing some of the centre's exhibits as part of gathering some of the clues for the heritage hunt.
These kids were anxious to see what were the display items...Well, I myself was anxious to tell them more too!
