Darlene Geiger 44, lost her battle with breast cancer on August 30,2000. She was a friend to many. Her trade mark "BITE ME" would make you smile.Her loss is not only felt by her son Travis, her father Houston, her beloved pets, but by all her friends and coworkers. Her cheerfullness, bravery, and wit during her illness was admirable. She left this life with dignity and peace. She lives on forever in our hearts.

                        A snip of fluff,
                        A patch of rag,
              A piece of thread-bare cloth.
                 Alone, they are just pieces
               Their meaning becomes lost.
                         A snip of pink
                         A patch of blue,
                 A faded piece of green
                 Woven all together ,now
                         A tapestry is seen.


                         A snip of faith,
                         A patch of hope,
                  A rag-tag piece or prayer.
                 Sewn with threads of tenderness,
                   A cloth of strength they share.
           We took this cloth and signed our names
                      To each snip,patch & part,
            And wove , with love, a friendship quilt
                      To wrap around your heart..
