As I indicated in a Friday Five, back a while ago, I spent most of my 20's with a spiral perm. My Mom and little sister have naturally curly hair, while I was blessed with an "unruly wave". So, I used to spend money, at least once a year, to get a head full of curls. Many people that met me for the first time thought I had naturally curly hair, and were jealous of my curls. Ironically, little sister Kim, still pays to have her curls straightened. Yes, life is full of little ironies.
