Wow, did this week go by fast, or what?

Last Monday, I met up with Amy, Barb, and Terry at Alexander's for lunch. Amy and I were the first to arrive. Doesn't she look like an angel?

Amy

Everyone was in good spirits, and we had a nice time. We spent time catching up on all the good things going on in our lives, and before we knew it, it was time to go.

After lunch, Barb and I went up to Village Gifts in Fairport to see Stefani's display of handmade cards and gifts. There were so many things I wanted to buy there, but I controlled myself and only bought a card, a bracelet for a gift, and an ornament for me. The ornament I bought was a little angel bell. It so reminded me of my favorite classic movie, "It's a Wonderful Life". At the end of the movie, the little girl says, "Look Daddy, teacher says everytime a bell rings, an angel gets its wings". I just love that movie! I usually don't buy gifts for myself, but it was inexpensive, and it had a significant meaning to me.

On Wednesday, I watched MacKenzie all day while Kevin and Ashley worked. She was such an angel!!!! She was enchanted by the lights on the Christmas tree. We have a typical, traditional old-fashioned artificial tree with a variety of ornaments. Looking at this picture, it looks like the star is at an angle. I just checked and it looks alright, so John must have fixed it since I took the picture.

Our friend that had surgery Friday is doing well. We've visited her on Friday and Saturday. She's in pain, of course, but appeared to be well taken care of. They are adding on other buildings to the hospital. Soon, rooms with a view will have a view of another building.

A winter storm has blown in, and now we're under a storm advisory. I think we have 4 inches of fresh snow so far. It's supposed to keep snowing and we're expected to get up over 14 inches.

This is it for now, because I have more things to do before the Buffalo Bills game starts. Go, Bills!

Stay tuned for more rambling! Take care!

Thanks for reading!
