Thought of the day:
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
- Seneca

1. What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

I'm not much of a dare devil; you won't find me jumping out of an airplane, at least not willingly. So, I would have to say that leaving my first husband, returning to college as an adult student, and going through with my second marriage top my list of "daring things".

2. What one thing would you like to try that your mother/friend/significant other would never approve of?

I would like to go back to school to become a psychologist. Since I'm already 40 years old, and still owe on student loans from obtaining my accounting degree, it would be a major risk that no one would approve of.

3. On a scale of 1-10, what's your risk factor? (1=never take risks, 10=it's a lifestyle)

A 3 or a 4

4. What's the best thing that's ever happened to you as a result of being bold/risky?

Having Kevin and John in my life were both the results of being bold/risky.

5. ... and what's the worst?

I tried to negotiate for a higher raise, and not only didn't I get it, but I was laid off less than a year later.
