While doing family research I discovered the he fought during the Civil War for the
Confederate Army in the 8th Regiment Arkansas Infantry. Because of him I discovered
I was a true Southerner, and I am proud of my heritage. We should all be. I have others
in my family that served for the Confederate Army, but I also have ancestors who
fought for The Union as well. So my family is full of history.
We all need to remember our ancestors who fought in the Civil War. Because if not for
them the United States would not be the way it is today. So please remember "ALL"
the veterans of our country both North and South. Because if not for them
our country would not be what it is today. We are a country full of heritage.
We should always remember those who have fought for this country in "all" of the wars.
