Personal Experiences
Sunday, September 27, 1998, my son and his wife were at our home, when she said, she though that maybe she was in labor, right away I was so excited.  It's not like we had not been through this before, we already has two grandsons, now our first granddaughter was about to make her grand entrance into our world.  My son and daughter-in-law stayed at our home for a little while, then decided to go to her mothers for a while.  I told my son to make sure he called me when it was time to go to the hospital and I wold meet them there.
Around 11:00PM, I decided to go to bed and try to get some sleep before I had to go to the hospital.  Shortly  after the phone rang and it was my son.  He said, Mom, we are going to go get my daughter now.  I told hime, "OK, Im on my way, I will meet you there."  My husband tried to talk me into staying home, telling me that they can have a baby without you there (Chuckling).  Knowing, I'm not about to stay home.  As I walked out the door, he said call me when she gets here!  I stopped for coffee, knowing that I was probaly going to need it for the long night ahead.  I had just sat down on a couch in the family waiting area when a sight that I would never wish on anyone came through the doors!  It was my son with a look and paler than I had ever seen before.  "She's lost the baby!!!!!!!!!"  All I could say was "What!"  He asked me to go stay with his wife for awhile, he needed to go outside and get some air.  I went to my then daughter-in-law, the Dr. was in there doing another sonogramt, to prove that out girl was indeed gone.  At 10:32 September 29, 1998 our angel was born, she was perfect in every way.  My son held his little girl first and for the longest time he talked to her, hummer you are my sunshine to her, checked her out to make sure she was perfect.  We took pictures and spent as much time with her as we could.  Two days later, we had Angelica's funeral.  How, I still hate that day, Angelicas Pa wrote her eulogy and it was beautiful.  Anelicas daddy and mommy are no longer together but that's OK.  Angeica has a beautiful little brother named after daddy and a beautiful little sister.  They know who she is because there is a special picture of Angelica that hand in the living room.
Angelica, we love and miss you so very much.  Be a good girl in heaven and we will all meet again some day.
Love You, Gramma
