I sat breathless beneath the timeless heavens watching the glorious angels silently playing as they danced upon the billows of the clouds in the most graceful and enchanting way. Again I gazed upon your written word and no grander poetry could I have read than your loving and soulful thoughts embracing me like music within the breast. Can you know your whispers touched me like the breeze off of an angel's wing? Their lilting melody caressing the heart while crystal tears trail the cheek. So many feelings fluttering like wings with a little glimmer here and a sparkle there, No greater words were ever spoken than the ones I could not hear drying crystal tears. Can you know, through all the storms with echoes of what is right and wrong, those silently flowing whispers have brought healing to the soul? Can you know throughout our time, perhaps for a fleeting and shining moment, what I've done ... I've done for you purely and simply because you needed me? Can you know that I love you even though it may seem but a dream that lingers gingerly within the mind like the sweetness of baby's breath? Can you know you were but a dream that became a beautiful reality to cherish throughout a humble lifetime because we stirred the clouds of heaven? Can you know of the electricity sensed from the thousands of eyes of those seeking the Spirit of Love & in their heart it was to be found? Can you know the idle passions are only searing, burning desires with an underlying sense of aloneness and a touch of dread as you drift away? Can you know the rants & raves are but a shimmering sheer reflection of a deep yearning within the heart fueled by a prayer for a better tomorrow? Can you know the promise of freshness found in the majesty of a rainbow as thunder subsides from the clouds' opening to chase the angers of the storm away? Can you know the grief within the soul as it falls short of touching the clouds' edge where you are gracefully perched gazing down with an outstretched hand? Can you know the warmth of the heart in knowing who you are without a fear and feeling the surrounding peace as that of great angelic wings enfolding you? Can you know our hearts became one for a brief moment in our infinite time when you dried the flowing crystal tears with the mighty flutter of your angel wings? Can you know I loved the angel whispers that failed to reach my waiting ears? No greater words were ever spoken than the ones I could not hear drying crystal tears. |
