MY ANGELS ARE YORKIES HEAVEN SENT TERRIERS WITH AN ATTITUDE
MY ANGEL YORKIES
My Yorkies are a blessing They are everything to me With silver, blackened hair And gold for all to see
They listen so intently And love me at my worst I wouldn't trade a million To watch my puppies nurse
I love their lonesome whimper As I come home each day I hug them as my children In my heart they'll always stay
They show themselves in fashion I praise their suttle ways Dancing for the judges There can't be better days
Bernie is the champion He never seems to waver An "ANGEL YORKIE" hero But all respond with flavor
My Yorkies are so special With me they'll always go In my heart, in earnest To every doggie show

MY STORY
***I started out with 15 tropical birds. I found that birds were quick to learn and I enjoyed teaching them. I began
doing bird shows for childrens birthday parties and church groups. My interest shifted to dogs when I attended a Bird
Fair in Montgomery, Alabama and there was a Dog Show in
progress and the Yorkies happened to be showing. A YORKIE
WAS GOING TO BE FOR ME!Not knowing anything about them or
ever having a registered dog,I purchased my first Yorkie,
BERNIE.Experience is a great educator on training dogs,
but my knowledge of Yorkies came by reading, looking at
tapes and talking to people.
***Once in a while dogs with Champion qualities
come along and BERNIE, my first Yorkie, is now a Champion.
He and I learned a lot along the way and I now raise,
show, and breed Yorkies, plus still have 6 birds!
We have come along way in 14 years, many thanks to
friends and family that have helped and lent us moral
support.
***My babies, as I call my dogs, start out as
cupids and learn and earn to be full angels when they
are full grown. All of them have made it). I'm always
waiting on the next champion to be!
ALL DOGS LISTED ARE AKC REG.

CH. ANGEL'S ODE TO BILLY JOE #23 AKC YORKIE FOR YEAR 2000
DO I GO HOME TODAY? (A Pets'Diary) by Sandi Thompson
My family brought me home. Cradled in their arms. They cuddled me and smiled at me, And said I was full of charms.
They played with me. And laughed with me. They showered me with toys. I sure do love my family, Especially the girls and boys.
The children loved to feed me. They even let me sleep with them, All snuggled in the sheets.
I used to go for walks, Often several times a day. They even fought to hold the leash, I'm very proud to say.
These are the things I can't forget, A cherished memory. I now live in the Shelter, Without my family.
They used to laugh and praise me, When I played with that old shoe, But I didn't know the difference Between the old and the new.
The kids and I would grab a rag, For hours we would tug/ So I thought I did the right thing, when I chewed the bedroom rug.
The said I was out of control, And would have to live outside. This I did not understand, although I tried and tried.
The walks stopped one by one They said they hadn't time, I wish that I could change things. I wish I knew my crime.
My life became so lonely, In the backyard on a chain. I barked and barked all day long. To keep from going insane.
So they brought me to the Shelter, But were embarrassed to say why, They said I caused an allergy, and kissed me goodby.
If I'd only had some classes, I wouldn't have been., So hard to handle, When I was all grown up.
"You only have one day left," I heard the worker say. Does this mean a second chance? Do I go home today?
TREAT ME KINDLY
***Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart
in all their world is more grateful for kindness than
the loving heart of me. Do not break my spirit with a
stick, for though I should lick your hand between blows,
your patience and understanding will more quickly
teach me the things you would have me do.
***Speak to me often, for your voice as the world's
sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce
wagging of my tail when your footsteps fall upon
my ear.
***When it is cold and wet, please take me
inside, for I am now a domesticated animal, no
longer used to bitter elements. And I ask no greater
glory that the privilege of sitting at your feet
beside the hearth. Though had you no home, I would
rather follow you though ice and snow than rest
upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all
the land, for you are my God and I am your worshiper.
***Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although
I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot
tell when I suffer from thirst. Feed me clean food,
that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your
bidding, to walk by your side, and to stand ready,
willing and able to protect you with my life should
your life be in danger.
***And, beloved master, should the great Master see
fit to deprive me of my health or sight,
do not turn me away from you. Rather hold
me gently in you arms as skilled hands grant me the,
merciful boon of eternal rest--- and I will leave,
you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate,
was ever in your hand.
