Hi! I'm in fourth grade now and my teacher is Miss Jimenez. She is this little tiny person but she still looks like a grown-up. We are the same size and by the end of the year I'll be taller. This is a photo of the first day of school. 

I have 25 kids in my class this year. There are four 4th grade classes at my school. In California a lot of the fourth grade is spent learning about the California Missions. We each pick one and research it, write about it, and make a mosaic. We also read literature that is set in  that time (late 1700's to mid 1800's) like "Island of the Blue Dolphins". I picked the San Gabriel Mission for my special project. In Girl Scouts we also do projects that tie into the Mission studies. The whole year is missions, missions, missions!!
