Got into punk early 77 so most of the best punk bands between 77/ 79 :  Pistols At Keighley & Huddersfield  & the best band ever Adam & the Ants 77/79
Who I saw tons of times in London & 3 tours until 80 when Adam changed musical direction

My 1st visit to Seditionaries was Oct 1st 77 when I visited Chelsea to watch Leeds United. It wouldn’t be my last visit over the years even when it changed to Worlds End. Talking to Lydon  at Huddersfield & that shop had a big impact on my life.

Early 80’s was all about Martian Dance who were all early Ants fans .Bow wow wow ,  Who were Adam’s original band . The Monochrome Set were still knocking out their

Little ditties  .Theatre of Hate & The Meteors started gigging round this time.Theatre of Hate were like I imagined punk would evolve by maintaining the energy but  more musically inclined.

The Meteors were a fusion of punk meets rockabilly ,  they were a breath of fresh air at the time .later came King Kurt who brought a fun element back to music .

It was also around this time I finally made the great leap of moving to London because I was going out with a lovely lass called Lou [RIP] who is sadly no longer with us .
My friend from Bradford Barnzley had also made the move South recently we would get up to loads of mischief for the next few years in club land
He's done well for himself now ,recently opening a new shop with Joe Corre Vivienne& Malcolms Son called "A child of jago "

From 80/86 we also started going to clubs in the West End  Billy’s,  Beat Route, The Wag, Planets, Cha.,Cha’s, heaven,  Mud  Bat cave , Camden Palace etc ...

The last band I followed was The Chiefs of Relief  who included Mathew Ashman [RIP] Paul Cook from the sex pistols my mate Duncan Grieg from Martian Dance & early Ants fan & Lance . The Stone Roses supported them at the Embassy Club for their 1st official gig but nobody really took much notice of them at the time.

Around 86 people were getting into bad habits so went back to Bradford

Back in Bradford I went to collage passed 4 course’s got into the early house scene after initially rejecting it after witnessing it in 87 at the Hacienda after a Shamen gig .

By the end of the 90’s my hedonistic lifestyle finally caught up with me & I went through I tough patch losing half my stomach among other ailments .

After 4 years of rehabilitation I am finally becoming at ease with how my life is now.
