Just two days after graduating high school, junior championship body builder Guy Pearce began his four year stint on the hit Australian soap, Neighbours (also stomping ground for Aussies Russell Crowe and Natalie Imbruglia), where he quickly became a smash teen idol. His stateside film breakthrough was back in 1994 with the hilarious The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in which he played drag queen Felicia opposite Hugo Weaving and Terence Stamp.
