ROUND TWO!
The events of round one had kept the crowd on their toes. The highs and lows, and to end the round with a worn-down Tomoe somehow defeating Yu to make it through. Someone had made a lot of money in that fight because only one joyful cry came from the gambling side of the stage. Round two started with an immense battle between Sakaki and Honda. Sakaki's low tricks did not have the same effect on Honda as they did with Hanga. Honda simply outpowered the smaller man and Sakaki submitted after a grueling 20 minutes.
Tomoe fought with Naramo next, and Tomoe seemed distracted and Naramo took full advantage with a sweep kick followed by a crane's beak while she was still down. She didn't get back up, but at least she wasn't seriously injured. After that match Ieyasu ran on stage and ordered some of his servants to take her back to the castle for a rest. He then stood up and shook Naramo's hand for being a gentleman during the fight unlike some of the previous matches.
Ieyasu had the next match against Kyanda and again fought conservatively. Kyanda was sorely outmatched and within 5 minutes, he was out of breath and lowered his guard. Ieyasu took full advantage and aimed a very precise hurricane kick, knocking Kyanda right off the stage. Then he bowed to the judges and ran off back to the castle to check on Tomoe's condition.
Ryo clunked up the steps to the stage. Date seemed to pounce up from one of the sides. He was like a cat, amazing speed, but his balance was his best trait by far.
"Fight!" called out Yokobue, and the men bowed to each other and then got into positions. Date grimmaced over at yet another weary fighter who was unsure if he could beat the "one eyed dragon". Date loved that power, he craved it; the taste it made in his mouth. He eased his way over to the fearful man who was edging back, until he was on the very corner of the stage. Date struck hard and fast at Ryo's chest toppling him off the stage. He turned to the judges and shrugged again, "I guess I won again huh?", then walked off into the crowd.
