John says: "I created the picture as an experiment of watercolour on top of an inked illustration. The character is called Juekem, a chaotic gnoll fighter, and member of the Fated, who travels with his twin brother Lu'kem, a ranger member of the Indeps. They're from a nomadic gnoll tribe of gnollish Primes, the Shomaki. The brothers somehow ended up in Sigil several years back and have been planewalking since, hiring themselves out as guides and survival experts as each is adept in surviving harsh regions, spanning from arctic to desert. I also plan to illustrate his brother in the near future..."
