  • The C. S. Lewis Page

    C. S. Lewis was perhaps the twentieth century's best known Christian apologist and writer. His works have become classics and while he may not be easily fitted in the Reformed camp in all respects the Lord has used Lewis to reach millions of people with the Gospel. This page contains articles and other links about the man, his life, his faith and his Mere Christianity. Of special note is an article on joy and true myth, which explores one of Lewis' most profound themes.

  • Proverbs - The Wisdom of God

A popular 1960's song had the lyrics, "What the world needs now is love sweet love, its the only thing that there's just too little of." While that's certainly true - the world does indeed need love, I'm afraid this songwriter didn't have agape love in mind. But we could also say that what the world then and now also needs is wisdom - blessed wisdom. No one much writes songs about wisdom today (Michael Card is the exception) let alone thinks about what it really means; yet it is at the very heart if you will of life itself. What literature there is today about wisdom has a new age, eastern religion flavor. The wonderful book of Proverbs, however, has a unique and timeless quality about it but its almost been ignored today even in the church. Found here is what little there is of the web on Proverbs. Additional new material will be added.
