Dean as a child . . .

Dean George Cain was born on July 31, 1966 at the Selfridge Base, Mt. Clemens, MI. He is the second of three kids and was known as "The fat little baby who grew up into a skinny teenager who was always good at sports."

During his teenage years . . .

Dean went to highschool at Sta. Monica High. It was here that he played numerous sports, including football with friends of his, other famous stars, Rob Lowe, Sean Penn, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen.

He pursued a college degree at Princeton University due to his athletic achievements. He graduated in 1988 with a degree in history. Later, he joined the Buffalo Bills (#11) where he showed an outstanding play of football. Dean’s football career came to an end with a knee injury which left him on the sideline.

After his knee injury, Dean bounded back by taking up acting. He auditioned for the role of Jake on Melrose Place but lost it to Grant Show. He tried out for numerous roles but didn’t get a single part.

Dean tried out for the role of Clark Kent and is now the "Superstud" of "Lois & Clark, The New Adventures of Superman"

He also appeared in commercials and filmed 35 of them. Some were of Frosted Flakes, Diet Coke, and El Pollo Loco. Dean also guested in many popular television shows,

During his spare time Dean likes to watch his father’s movies while eating pizza. He, too, likes to write scripts alongside his father, Christopher, and has written some of the past episodes of Lois & Clark.

What Dean likes to do . . .

More about Dean, he drives a Dodge Viper, and a green Harley- Davidson. He has three dogs, Jay, Mocha and Bosco. Dean’s a healthy eater but he has favorite junkfoods too, hotdogs and beer.

As a child, Dean liked to read The Chronicles of Narnia. His favorite role models are Tom Cruise, Wynona Ryder, 
Harrison Ford and Michelle Pheiffer. He likes listening to songs by Alanis Morisette, Pearl Jam, Janet Jackson, Melissa Ethridge, the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, and he secretly likes some Mariah Carey songs.
