8期生の郊外研修旅行

Penang, Malaysia

2003年6月18日ー20日

Here comes the story on our memorable first trip out-of-KL organized by AYF this year. It's too bad it's most likely the only trip we will ever make outside KL altogether in a big group like this.  But that's something we don't have the control over.  Gotta enjoy it, right? Well, let's see how fully pack the memories we had from the trip together! Ready.... set.....go!

Day 1

The journey began as we all hopped on the bus from in front of SPB Towers early morn of June 18, 2003 with lots of excitements in our blood vessels.  (Though some might exclaimed to be brain-dead from all the preps we had to do for the trip! But  who said it wasn't a fun and good experience, right?)  The bus took probably 5-6 hours until we saw a promising "Penang Bridge" and not long after that, we finally got to settle in the hotel, then whole-heartedly wished to grab a 'quick' lunch, only that most of us didn't end up with that 'quick' a lunch as expected!

Bandai Sensei wrote the team's selected Kanji on our SUPER concentrating Iizuka Sensei

Our first activity started with "GAME SESSION" when each of the three pre-determined groups had to lead the rest how to play their games.  With a lot of frustration, we tried our best to deliver everything purely in Japanese and it came out really well, huh! If anyone denies, please do refer to the pictures on the right and see for yourself how involved our sensei and friends were. ;-)

The evening of our first day was spent around Gourney area in Georgetown, the capital of Penang. Dined out in a nice local restaurant in Gourney Place and then hopped around doing our little shopping before heading back to the hotel.

(And Tangin got it all with pure "LUCK",
only because it's called "Lucky Game"!)
